After almost a decade of being a band, Helens are back with their first official full length album, Somewhere In Nowhere. After a set of two EPs (Pollen in 2019 and Flora in 2020) that were released together on bud in 2020, the then core group of Jordan Portlock, Aspen Koch, and Julian Boyd (which now includes Zac Olsen in the live band) drove out to Colorado to record a record with producer Corey Coffman. The resulting record is earth shattering, locked in bass and drums with soaring and cascading guitar tones, melodious and glowing vocal performances from Portlock and Koch, and an atmosphere that transports you somewhere warm, a distant memory, another world, somewhere familiar and yet entirely new and exciting. Its a record that needed a little extra something which is why bud is doing our first ever official Vinyl Pressing. On record, the cohesion of sounds is otherworldly. I can't wait to share these very special artifacts with you.
